Black Beanie

This beanie was originally inspired by Damien Hirst’s epic series of “Polka-Dots” paintings. Mimicking Hirst’s intentions to catch the eye with vibrant colors on a plain white background, the beanie creates a similar effect which is highlighted by the contrast in the 360 view and movement in comparison to the flat, 2D appearance of the artist’s painting series. However, when experimenting with different colour coordinations, we realised that silver eyelets on dark backgrounds resemble that of a disco ball, especially when worn; therefore, you can prove to those around you that you like dancing and by extension, music, by wearing this. In conclusion, you can either wear a mobile work of art or disco ball to keep your mind warm this winter.
